WILA ATC products
The WILA Smart Bending Series consists of ATC tools, the ATC gripper, various storage options, and tool recognition.
ATC tools
Nearly every New Standard Premium tool is available with an ATC adapter, allowing for automatic vertical tool changes using an ATC gripper. The maximum tool weight is 12.5kg, and the maximum tool length is 255mm.
ATC gripper
The ATC gripper can clamp and move both upper and lower tools with an ATC adapter. The ATC gripper is pneumatically operated and can engage the Safety-Clicks of the upper tool. It has various mounting options, making it suitable for almost any robot.
ATC tool storage
ATC tool storage can be integrated into an automatic press brake in different ways. Use a docking station for tools shorter than 100 mm and docking pins for tools that are 100 mm or longer.
Private label
ATC tools In addition to standard and custom-made WILA ATC tools, WILA also produces tools for private label ATC concepts. Combine the proven accuracy and durability of WILA New Standard tools with your own ATC solution. WILA is ready to assist you with this.
V-Lock
Combined with our automatic clamping systems, WILA New Standard tools are automatically aligned and centered across the entire length of the press brake, not only for the upper tool but also utilizing our patented V-Lock technology for the lower tool.
Pneumatic clamping
Tools can be clamped extremely quickly using air, with clamping force provided by our patented Self-Locking® mechanism. This unique combination results in faster tool changes and increased long-term productivity.
Durability
Tool wear is detrimental, especially in automated environments. WILA tools are produced with a tolerance of up to +/- 0.01mm on critical contact surfaces and are CNC-deep-hardened up to 4mm deep with a hardness of up to 60HRC.
OZU-ZN
Loading is a common problem when bending galvanized sheet metal. Loading leads to inaccuracies, damage to the sheet, and products sticking to the lower tool. Cleaning is time-consuming and disrupts the process. By applying OZU-ZN coating to ATC tools, these problems are eliminated.
The upside-down world
In automated bending, the choice can be made to swap the positions of the upper and lower tools. WILA lower tools can be optionally equipped with the same 20mm adapter as the upper tools, allowing for an inverted setup. This simplifies robot control and offers advantages in sheet handling.
